Learning Beyond the Walls
Textbooks, lectures and classroom activities can only teach students so much. Learning comes alive in well-planned field trips, retreats, and travel. Horizons are broadened, relationships deepen, and experiences are remembered – creating moments and memories to last a lifetime. This is what The Woodlands Christian Academy calls “Beyond the Walls.”
Our Lower, Middle and Upper School students enjoy several field trips relevant to curriculum, and travel for academic and athletic competitions throughout the school year. In Upper School 10th, 11th and 12th grade students have the option to choose from a buffet of trips in the Spring. Freshman students will take a class trip to Arizona and 8th grade students will travel as a class to Washington D.C. High school students also have the opportunity to go on retreats and mission trips.
