Woodlands Christian Celebrates Homecoming
Buzzing with energy and decked out in green and gold, Homecoming is a special time at Woodlands Christian. All three schools — lower, middle and high — get to participate in festivities and show their school spirit! A fun-filled week of themed dress days, Burgers & Bingo, Silent Disco and a volleyball game, culminated with an all-school pep rally, football game and dance.
On Friday, October 22, 2021, fans lined the sidewalk for the Warrior March to cheer for the drumline, cheerleaders, coaches and football team. The stands were full with faithful fans including alumni, home for the weekend! TWCA beat Frassati Catholic, 54-8, in a landslide victory for the Warriors.
The Homecoming Court attendees were introduced at halftime and the King and Queen were announced. The Homecoming Court was nominated by faculty and elected by the student body. In keeping with our school’s foundational pillars and capstone, members of the Homecoming Court demonstrate spiritual strength in their daily lives, strive for excellence in the classroom, are positive role models and maintain healthy lifestyles. Congratulations to our Homecoming King - Ethan Bridges, and Homecoming Queen - Reagan Harris! Thank you to all of our court attendees for modeling the Warrior Way!
