Warrior Athletes Excel in District Play - Look Ahead to Regionals
The varsity golf team finished 2nd in last week's TAPPS 4A district tournament. Team members Preston Culberson, Tommy Freet, Josh Melber, Grant Perry and Maclain Ruffner believe they have the talent to score among the best at the upcoming regional tournament.
Warrior Track & Field is celebrating 1st place finishes for both the boys and girls teams after a superior performance at the district meet, held last Friday at Warrior Stadium. This marks the 4th district championship for the boys team and the EIGHTH CONSECUTIVE DISTRICT TITLE for the girls! Several athletes qualified to compete in the regional round of the TAPPS state playoffs which takes place April 26 in Bastrop, TX.
Congratulations to the players and coaches -- we look forward to cheering you on throughout the playoffs!
