The Woodlands Christian Academy honored our seniors on Wednesday, April 28th with a celebration of College Decision Day. The Class of 2021 gathered to broadcast their plans to further their education, athletic careers and their lives.
Together, the 61 seniors at TWCA earned a record-breaking total of $8,966,728 in merit-based scholarship offers from schools all across the United States. Clad in their future colors — 23 different schools to be exact — Warrior Seniors came together on the Micah lawn to commemorate their accomplishments both in the class room and on their respective playing fields.
"We are excited to celebrate the culmination of four years of high school with students announcing their college choice," high school principal Stephen Clark said. "Amy Rowe, Director of Academics and College Counseling honors each student and the choice they have made for their future. Although we will miss our Seniors of 2021, we are excited about the impact they will make on the college campus next year."
Athletically, five TWCA students were honored as part of the 2021 Spring National Signing Day. Caleb Bigler (Hillsdale College - Track), Austin Boyd (Hendrix College - Baseball), Bryce Burton (Hendrix College - Baseball), Cedric Cook (Lady of the Lake University - Basketball) and McKenna Meadors (Hill College - Softball) were joined by their parents and coaches to officially sign as collegiate athletes.

“These five students will become a special class of athletes,” TWCA Coordinator of Sports Information Tanner Field said. “The current research shows that only about 3% of all high school athletes receive an opportunity to play at the collegiate level. On behalf of the school and all of Warrior Nation, we are extremely proud of your accomplishments and you will be missed.”
At The Woodlands Christian Academy, we challenge our students to reach their highest potential – intellectually, creatively, physically and socially – for the glory of Jesus Christ. The Class of 2021 is an exemplary reminder of what can be accomplished as a part of Warrior Nation.
