Third Graders Participate in Service Project for Texas Children’s Hospital
Before spring break, third grade students sorted and organized hygiene and activity bags, and made fleece blankets for patients staying at Texas Children’s Hospital. The prayer was to bless children and their families, who are sometimes hospitalized for an unforeseen number of days. Third grade teachers wanted students to see how kids the same age can be dealing with significant life events, and that they could provide a special moment in their day, but also not take for granted their God-given health.
