Spanish Club Hosts Chili Fest
Written by Ava Fuentes
On February 28, 2020, Spanish club hosted its annual Chili Fest. Spanish club members brought crockpots full of homemade chili, and for $5, students, faculty and staff had all-you-can-eat chili. Proceeds from the cook off went to benefit the Ecuador mission trip.
Señor Broughton, Spanish Club sponsor said, “I thought hosting a fundraiser to help subsidize the cost for the Ecuador mission trip would be a worthy cause.” Coach Earle leads the annual mission trip to Ecuador over the summer and so far, 22 students have signed up.
