SENIORS JOIN 65,000 IN WORSHIP AT PASSION CONFERENCE
Coach Earle and Amy Rowe took 30 seniors to participate in the Passion Conference in Atlanta, GA, on December 31, 2019 - January 2, 2020. With over 65,000 people in attendance, and power house speakers like John Piper, Ravi Zacharias, Tim Tebow, and Sadie Robertson, the Passion Conference was designed to bring college students together, ignite their faith and call students to action.
This is the 5th consecutive year Woodlands Christian students attended the Passion Conference. As to why it is important, Coach Earle said, “we have to give our students opportunities like these so they can taste and see what college ministry can look like. As Christians, we belong to a body of believers. They do not have to stand alone in their faith.”
Students had an unforgettable experience and described the conference as life changing. According to one student, "Passion 2020 was an experience I’ll never forget. It was unreal and inspiring to see 65,000 students all there to worship God. Passion truly opened my eyes to see more clearly and opened my heart to the Lord. I’m truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to attend the conference, it was one of the best decisions of my life."
