Middle School Students Inducted Into National Junior Honor Society
On October 24, 2019, twenty-eight middle school students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). Eligibility is based on a minimum GPA of 3.5 from the previous school year. In addition to the scholarship standard, membership in NJHS is also based on standards of leadership, service, citizenship, and character.
During the induction ceremony, NJHS inductees pledged to always seek the light of truth, hold scholarly habits, engage in worthy service, lead forward in all things that advance the cause of Christ and the mission and welfare of The Woodlands Christian Academy.
NJHS sponsor, Jennifer Russell expressed her enthusiasm for the new members, "This year we have a large group of new inductees who seem excited to serve their school and local community. I enjoy working with students who want to be servant leaders and challenge themselves academically."
