Kinder - Senior Buddies Reunite Online
Kinder Buddies is a long-established and beloved program at Woodlands Christian. It creates a sense of community between our youngest and oldest students by offering the kindergarteners someone to look up to and allowing the seniors to act as role models. It also reaffirms our commitment to building relationships in accordance with our school’s core values.
Both kindergarteners and seniors always look forward to seeing each other and the bond they form is amazing, often lasting well beyond graduation. And, despite moving to a distance learning setting, our faculty have created opportunities for seniors and their buddies to continue checking-in over Zoom calls. The first session was a huge success – the kindergarteners were ecstatic to reconnect with their partners and didn’t hesitate filling them in on what they’ve been up to over the past few weeks.
