The Woodlands Christian debate team was scheduled to compete in a local tournament the weekend of October 25, 2019, when it was cancelled at the last minute. Determined to find a tournament for the team to compete in that weekend, Mrs. Susie King drove the entire team, over five hours, to Corpus Christi.
Several team members were first-timers, but everyone did exceedingly well with most advancing to semi-finals. A special thanks to Mrs. Susie King, for going above and beyond for our Warriors! Congratulations, Warriors, on a job well done!
Semi-Finals:
Abby Bagnoli – Extemp
Catherine Berger – Prose
Alex Boyd – Prose
Serafina Cianflone – Oratory
Raina Hummel and Sophia Russo – Duet Acting
Finals:
Amelia Ousley – Humorous, 1st place
