Continued support from our generous families has allowed us to continue expanding our STEAM program. Also referred to as “challenge-based learning”, STEAM lessons are designed to encourage critical thinking and problem solving.
A love of reading is cultivated at a young age. Our Pre-K and Kindergarten students visit the library weekly where they get to explore new ideas and allow their curiosity to run wild. Every year, it’s a tradition for Pre-K and Kindergarten students to dress up as their favorite characters for the Storybook Parade.
Lower school students attend chapel every Wednesday. They begin with praise and worship before being introduced to biblical lessons using fun, age appropriate and interactive methods. God’s love is resonate with their curious young minds'.
Middle school students attend chapel every week. At Woodlands Christian, we look at every subject through the lens of Christianity, always seeking to bring our students closer to God. Our teachers and coaches serve as encouraging role models and mentors to our students.
Our athletic programs are competing among the best in the city, state and nation. In 2019, the Houston Chronicle ranked Woodlands Christian as the city’s #8 high school for athletics. In 2020, an astounding 23% of our graduates were offered opportunities to continue competing at the collegiate level!
