Director of Development, Kellie Armstrong
Prior to coming to Woodlands Christian, I worked in the Human Service field for over 22 years serving in a variety of positions -- social worker, trainer, analyst, consultant, clinician, fundraiser and administrator. For most of my career, I have served children who live in extreme poverty and have suffered unspeakable abuse. While I remain passionate about helping those in need, I am thrilled to use my talents to help Woodlands Christian grow and develop the next generation of servant leaders for eternity.
As the Development Director, I am dedicated to supporting the mission of Woodlands Christian by nurturing lifelong relationships with our alumni and families; securing financial resources through Annual Fund, Capital Campaigns, Auction and Gala, and other funding initiatives; and promoting Woodlands Christian in our community. I continue to be in awe at the commitment, generosity and kindness of spirit, which permeate Woodlands Christian.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Boston College and a Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida. I live in The Woodlands with my husband and two children.
