Our admission process encourages prospective families to learn more about The Woodlands Christian Academy while permitting the school to discern whether or not an appropriate match is plausible. Priority in admission is given to the students most capable of success – spiritually, academically, physically and socially.
Traits like teamwork, empathy, and integrity are a sign of values and character in action and part of what we’re looking for in your child. Woodlands Christian is participating in the pilot of SSATB’s ground-breaking Character Skills Assessment (CSA), an innovative assessment meant to examine character traits your child demonstrates every day in school and the community. Built by admission test experts at SSATB in conjunction with 32 independent schools, the CSA will help our admission team understand the unique values that your child will contribute to the Woodlands Christian community.
Decisions regarding admission are made in the best interest of Woodlands Christian by the Admission Committee which is comprised of the Director of Enrollment, School Principal, Associate Principals, and faculty representatives. Applicants are evaluated on the basis of standardized test results, academic records, pastor recommendations and interviews or observations. The Head of School approves the final recommendations of the Admission Committee.
The Woodlands Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
