We are excited to announce the launch of The Woodlands Christian Academy's chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Beginning in the 2018-19 school year, all high school student athletes are invited to join us for impactful small group conversations, focused on growing strong, Christian leaders. Once a month we will gather for breakfast and hear from a guest speaker. All high school athletes participating in a sport on or off campus are welcome to attend. We appreciate your prayers for our students, coaches and staff in our effort to "unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel!"
After a well-prepared week of training and scouting our Varsity boys defeated Grand Oaks, 41-33 increasing their record to 2-0 on the season. After a hard-fought battle on the O-line the Warriors rushed for a combined 384 yards. Dane Jackson (#21) rushed for an outstanding 210 yards with three touchdowns. Our defensive team showed up and showed out by forcing one sack made by Hunter Ellis (#25) as well as an interception made by Caleb Chappelle (#19) returning it back 66 yards. The search for perfection will continue for the Warriors as they prepare for Week 3.
