Admission Process

If you are a Christian family seeking a Christian school, we’re here to guide you as you pursue what's possible with TWCA! Application steps are listed below. For a detailed overview of the application process, download our Step-by-Step Application Guide.

Step 1: Inquire

What questions do you have about the TWCA experience? We look forward to answering them! Submit an inquiry form and we’ll send you our Parent Info Packet which provides an overview of our culture and offerings.

Step 2: Tour

Come visit our campus so we can get to know you better, and you can learn if TWCA is the right fit for you and your family..

Step 3: Apply

Submit your application online along with all required documents. A non-refundable $125 application fee is required for each child applying.

Step 4: Entrance Test

Entrance testing is required for all applicants and is administered off-site through third-party providers.

Pre-K - K: WPPSI
1st - 6th: WISC
7th - 12th: ISEE

Payment is due to the provider. Please schedule testing at your earliest convenience and request that results be shared with The Woodlands Christian Academy Admissions. A list of diagnosticians are included in the Application Guide.

Step 5: Shadow & Interview

After receiving a submitted application, parents will receive a link to self-schedule a student shadow day and parent interview. The shadow experience allows the student an opportunity to encounter the TWCA culture, meet peers, attend class and engage with faculty and staff. The parent interview is an opportunity to discuss the spiritual and educational partnership with TWCA.

Step 6: Decision

Admission decisions are announced via email on decision days. If your child is offered enrollment, you will receive instructions for completing a continuous enrollment contract. Once signed, you are officially a TWCA Warrior!

Important Dates For 2025-2026

September 1

Applications Open

January 15

Priority Application Deadline. Application, testing, shadow, and interview must be completed by this date for priority consideration.

January 31

Priority Decision Day. Priority admission decisions are announced to families who completed all steps by January 15.

March 7

Decision Day. Admission decisions are announced via email.

After these dates, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, and admission is subject to availability. If you have applied to additional independent schools, you must accept or decline an enrollment offer by March 26 (HAIS Common Reply Date).
