Meet the Academic Leadership
Originally from Wales, Mr. Zeal has over 30 years in independent school education; in Wales, Scotland, and the United States. Mr. Zeal holds a B.A. honors degree in History from the University of Winchester, England, a post-graduate Certificate of Education from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and Master of Education Degree from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He has served as the District Representative for the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) since 2006.
Associate Principal - Lower School
Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, Mrs. Bruha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Finance from The University of Louisiana and Master of Education Degree, with an Educational Diagnostician emphasis. Mrs. Bruha joined Woodlands Christian in 2015.
Associate Principal - Middle School
Mr. Laugen received his B.A. from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, majoring in business with a strong desire to be a teacher and coach. Before coming to Woodlands Christian in 2015, Mr. Laugen served as the Head of School and Secondary Principal at Washtenaw Christian Academy in Michigan, Middle School Principal and Interim Superintendent at Scottsdale Christian Academy. Mr. Laugen spent many years teaching in the classroom and coaching high school football and baseball prior to earning his Master of Education Degree from Grand Canyon University.
Associate Principal - High School
Mr. Clark is a graduate of Baylor University where he participated in cross country and track & field while earning a bachelor's degree in science and a master’s degree in education. Prior to beginning his career in education, he served in full time ministry as a children’s and outreach pastor. Mr. Clark has a heart for today's teenagers and brings a wealth of experience from his years as a biology teacher, assistant principal, academy principal and school principal in the large public school system.
