David D. Flowers is a Religion/Biblical Studies graduate of East Texas Baptist University and he spent seven years in vocational ministry. 

David has worked with students for ten years and has found his home in the classroom as an educator. He is in his second year at The Woodlands Christian Academy.  He teaches Theology, Church History, and Latin.

His emphasis is in the following areas of Biblical Studies: theology, Christology, hermeneutics, ethics, church history, ecclesiology, radical discipleship, and what is known as the "deeper" Christian life.

He has plans to begin graduate study at Houston Graduate School of Theology in 2010.  He is presently completing his certification with the Association of Christian Schools International.

David lives in The Woodlands, TX with his wife Lanna. Mrs. Flowers is the choral director at Knox Junior High School.  David and Lanna are involved in the organic house church movement in the greater Houston area.  Their fellowship gathers in homes throughout Spring/The Woodlands, TX.

In his spare time, David is a freelance writer and blogger on the centrality and supremacy of Jesus Christ. He has currently published articles in Christian Ethics Today and the Wittenburg Door Magazine.  Coming this Fall/Winter 09, Searching Together Magazine will be publishing "Heaven to Earth: The Christian Hope in the Resurrection."
