Principal Welcome

Welcome to TWCA High School!

President Ronald Reagan once wrote,

“If we fail to instruct our children in justice, religion, and liberty, we will be condemning them to a world without virtue, a life in the twilight of a civilization where the great truths have been forgotten.”

The challenges and pressures facing young people today, particularly during their high school years are overwhelming. Today, children more than ever need to learn how to live before they can make a living, and they need to develop character before developing a career. TWCA has been recognized as an institution that provides the kind of quality education that prepares young people for the challenges they will face in life.

High school is the time when all the foundational work of earlier years comes to fruition and when preparation for college and vocation takes center stage. The high school years are also a time for exploring options, establishing priorities, clarifying values, and charting directions. We seek to provide our students with a comprehensive, college preparatory academic program that prepares them to succeed in college and in life.

High school is also a fun time of exploring and participating in many activities. Through a wide array of sports (football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, track, baseball, softball, and cheerleading) and fine arts (art, band, choir, and drama), students are able to use their abilities, talents and interest and expand the horizons before them. In addition, there are club, honor societies and special events that round out the high school experience. These extracurricular activities can have a lifelong impact on young people and create lifelong memories.

As a Christ centered, Christ honoring institution, TWCA is uniquely positioned to challenge young men and women to be Christ’s ambassadors of love, hope and meaning in a culture of self-centered consumerism, cynicism, and despair.
